Quick Tips
  • Build your maze first — a long, winding path is your best weapon
  • Cryo Towers are MVP — they slow enemies AND boost adjacent tower damage
  • Fuse towers for endgame power — place a tower ON TOP of a compatible tower, or select a tower and pick a fusion from the info panel
  • Check the wave preview — it shows what's coming so you can counter-build
  • Bank credits for interest — unspent credits earn 5% per wave (up to 200)
  • Match damage types to weaknesses — 1.5x damage against weak enemies

Deep in uncharted space, humanity's frontier stations detect an alien signal — a vast biological intelligence directing swarms of weaponized creatures. You are a Commander at the last outpost, first line of defense against extinction.

Characters

Commander Ratchet
Grizzled veteran running the defense. Dry humor, zero patience for bureaucracy. Your commanding officer and narrator.
S.A.R.A.
Station AI with a personality upgrade she didn't ask for. Tactical analysis with unsolicited commentary. Thinks she's funnier than she is.
Zix
Alien arms dealer who materializes whenever there's profit to be made. Introduced fusion technology to human forces. Suspiciously well-informed.
General Kron
Former human commander who merged with the hive mind. Now directs the swarm with human tactical knowledge. The campaign's primary antagonist.
High Command (Brass)
Distant authority figures who provide missions and occasionally useful intel. Mostly just send you into worse situations.
The Hive Mind
Collective alien consciousness behind The Signal. Speaks in fragmented transmissions. Ancient, patient, and very, very angry you keep winning.

Campaign: The Signal War

12 missions across 4 acts. Fully voiced with character dialogue, mid-mission events, and branching narrative beats. Comedy sci-fi in the vein of Starship Troopers meets Red vs Blue.

Act 1: First Encounters
Mysterious biological signals detected at the frontier. First contact reveals the swarm is being directed by an intelligence. Zix arrives with fusion technology just in time. Ends with General Kron's chilling broadcast.
Act 2: Escalation
The swarm adapts. New enemy types emerge — Titans, Matryoshka nesting units, teleporters. Multi-front battles test your maze-building skills. The stakes multiply as Kron reveals his true nature.
Act 3: The Hunt
Go on the offensive. Track Kron's signal relays through crater wasteland and island fortresses. Aura Commanders buff entire swarm waves. The final assault on Kron's stronghold.
Act 4: Endgame
Lost in void terrain, ambushed in mountain ridges, and finally facing The Source itself. 20-wave final mission. The Hive speaks: "W E . A R E . T H E . S I G N A L." Can you silence it forever?

Disasters

Starting from Wave 3, there's a 20% chance after each wave of a random disaster. Some help, some hurt, all are chaotic.

Explosion damages enemies and towers, creates craters.
Can actually help clear enemies.
Black Hole
Creates void terrain, destroys nearby structures.
Rebuild around it.
Earthquake
Creates rubble, slows enemies, may damage walls.
The slow helps you.
Solar Flare
Empowers energy towers 5s, then disables them 3s.
Time big plays during the buff.
Acid Rain
Damages all towers over 6 seconds.
Keep towers healthy.
EMP Burst
Disables all towers for 3s, but also stuns enemies for 3s.
Neutral — affects both sides equally.
Fog of War
Reduces tower ranges by 30% for 8 seconds.
Cryo slow keeps enemies in reduced range.

Spawns a crate worth 50-150 credits.

Economy

Interest
Earn 5% interest on unspent credits each wave (cap: 200). Supply Lines tech boosts to 5.5%.
Chain Kills
5 kills in 2s = 2x credits. 10 kills = 3x. 20 kills = 5x. AoE towers at maze turns trigger these.
Sell & Reinvest
Sell towers for 40% refund (more with Salvage Tech). Reinvest in fusions or relocate as your maze evolves.
Synergies
Same-type towers adjacent: +5% damage each. Any tower next to Cryo: +10% damage. Cluster for max effect.
